HUBUNGAN ANTARA KETERBATASAN LAHAN DAN KETERBATASAN EKONOMI DENGAN KETAHANAN PANGAN PETANI DI DESA TEDUH DI ERA PENDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara keterbatasan lahan dan keterbatasan ekonomi dengan ketahanan pangan petani yang berada di Desa Teduh di era Covid-19.  Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori masyarakat resiko Ulrich Beck.  Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berjenis eksplanatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah petani Desa Teduh, Kecamatan Barat Daya, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat sebanyak 698 orang. Sampel diambil secara random sampling sebanyak 30 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan pearson product moment sederhana dan ganda dengan SPSS versi 25.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan signifikan pada α=0,05 antara keterbatasan lahan dan keterbatasan ekonomi sebesar -0,765; hubungan antara keterbatasan lahan dengan ketahanan pangan sebesar 0,023; hubungan secara bersama-sama antara keterbatasan lahan dan kerentanan ekonomi dengan ketahanan pangan sebesar 59,1 %. Sisanya sebesar 40,9 % merupakan pengaruh variabel lain di luar model. Hasil menarik penelitian ini pada saat pandemi covid-19 semakin tingginya resiko ketahanan pangan, disertai kerusakan komoditas menjadikan pendapatan petani kian menurun, dan terganggunya keseimbangan pengeluaran dan pendapatan, terbukti telah mengakibatkan melemahkan ketahanan pangan yang terwujud dalam perubahan pada pola makan petani mereka. Teori masyarakat resiko makin menegaskan bahwa semakin terbatasnya lahan petani dan kerentanan ekonomi, terbukti semakin beresiko pada melemahnya ketahanan pangan mereka.
