Manuscript Scope

Econetica is a peer reviewed and open access academic journal published by the Islamic Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. The journal seeks high quality scholarly work in the following areas.

  • Socio economic empowerment

Submissions that adopt interdisciplinary or empirically grounded approaches and focus on issues relevant to emerging economies are encouraged.

Submission Format and Process

Econetica applies a free formatting policy at initial submission. Manuscripts must include essential academic components such as title, abstract, introduction, methodology, results, and references. All submissions must be written in English and submitted exclusively through our Open Journal System.

The editorial team may edit for grammar and style without altering the substance of the article.

Ethical and Technical Checks

  • Originality screening with plagiarism detection software
  • Compliance with ethical standards and data availability on request
  • Figures and tables must be clear and properly labeled
  • Reference list must be complete and verifiable

Manuscript Components and Guidelines

1. Title

The title should be concise with no more than fifteen words, clear, and informative, reflecting the core content of the paper.

2. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract of approximately two hundred words provides objectives, methods, and key findings. Write in a single paragraph with no citations.

Keywords. Include three to five relevant keywords separated by commas.

3. Introduction

The introduction establishes context and objectives. Include a focused literature review that identifies gaps, explains novelty, and outlines contributions.

  • To fill this knowledge gap, we examine …
4. Methodology

Describe research design, sample or population, instruments, analytical methods, and hypothesis testing if applicable. Ensure clarity and replicability.

5. Results and Discussion

Present main findings with tables or figures when relevant. Discuss implications, compare with prior studies, and interpret results in line with objectives. Provide descriptive statistics when appropriate such as mean and standard deviation.

6. Conclusion

Summarize main findings and contributions to theory and practice. State implications, limitations, and directions for future research.

7. Appendix Optional

Include questionnaires, technical details, or acknowledgments when needed.

8. References

Use APA Seventh Edition. At least eighty percent of references should be peer reviewed journals or conference proceedings from the last ten years. We recommend reference managers such as Mendeley or Zotero.
